HHhH is the debut novel of frenchman Laurent Binet, for which he received the Prix Goncourt du Premier Roman in France (the main prize for debut novels), was nominated for the Europese Literatuur Prijs (prize for the best translated novel) and that has been the literary underground hype of 2011 in the Netherlands. On May 31st American philosopher Martha Nussbaum will visit Amsterdam. Martha C. Nussbaum is Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago. She will speak at the International School of Amsterdam in Amstelveen about her latest translated book: Creating Capabilities.
